Depending on weather conditions I shoot in many different locations, but here are some of my favorites!

Equipment? What camera do you use?

I am currently shooting with the Nikon Z6 with various lenses, and the Nikon Z5 with various lenses that Nikon released in 2020. They are by far the best cameras I’ve ever used with over 270 sensor points and I love capturing special moments with it as my primary piece of equipment. I also carry a flash attachment and light adjuster. I always have spare memory cards and batteries at the ready for my longer sessions as well.

What does it look like if we book our wedding with you?

First: Contact me to inquire about your wedding date & ask any questions you may have to ensure you are comfortable with my services. I would love to get to know you and the story of your relationship.

Next: Once we have your contract details in order I will send you a final contract to sign with total cost of my photography services & travel expenses. Your 50% down payment is due at this time.

Engagement Session: All of my wedding packages include a complimentary mini engagement session as a thank you for entrusting me with your wedding day. Once your contract is signed we will schedule a date & time to knockout your engagement photos for those save-the-dates! You will receive your fully edited engagement gallery within 2 weeks after completing your session.

One Month Prior to Wedding Date: I will schedule a FaceTime or phone call with you so we can collaboratively go over your wedding day timeline together to ensure I capture everything you desire throughout your big day. I do create custom timelines for you to send to your family & friends at no extra charge should you request one. I am happy to help!

24 hours prior to Wedding Date: Final payment is due (The remaining 50% balance.) You are welcome to pay anytime before the 24 hour deadline.

Day of your Wedding: The day we’ve been waiting for! Depending on your package I will show up as to when we agreed upon, and fulfill the responsibilities of the package you chose.

1-3 Days Post Wedding Day: I will send you a fully edited sample gallery to cherish until I complete your full Wedding Day Gallery.

6-8 weeks Post Wedding Day: Your fully edited Wedding Day Gallery will be sent to you via DropBox. I just love this moment, when I get to send off all the images I’ve thoughtfully worked on to my bride & groom.

Future + Beyond: you get 10% off any of my other services. If you have a friend or family member getting married they will receive 10% off any of my wedding packages if they refer your name to me when booking. (Wedding referral program initiated on 1/1/2021)

*COVID19 POLICY: My heart goes out to couples planning their weddings during these uncertain times. I prioritize honesty and transparency every step of the way. I will never take advantage of you, or treat you unethically. Should your wedding be cancelled, you must reschedule to an open date on my schedule. If your wedding is cancelled entirely, and you wish not to have photography services, please contact me and I will issue the refund amount stated in your contract.

How does the payment process work?

Once you have decided which photo package best suits your needs, I will get your email and send you a contract to sign with all negotiated agreements. Upon the signing and completion of your contract, I do require a 50% down payment in order to reserve your date & time. The remaining balance of your photography package will be due 24 hours before our scheduled session.

Electronic payments can be sent using Venmo only. Cash or checks can be mailed to me directly.

I wholeheartedly acknowledge life happens and a reschedule might be necessary. If a unique circumstance arises please alert me as soon as possible and we can negotiate an alternative date for your session.

Travel fees for a wedding/event?

My “home base” in Parker, Colorado. However, I also have traveling “home bases” in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Meaning if your event takes place within 45 minutes of either of these home bases there will NOT be a hotel fee.

Clients are responsible for 75% of my travel expenses. I will determine the most efficient traveling route for myself, and then discuss the total costs with you. This will include flight + hotel + driving, or gas mileage + hotel. Hotel stays will be for 2 nights, the night before your wedding and the night of your wedding date.

Driving: Fluctuates depending on gas & distance. Reach out to me directly!

Hotel/ Lodging expenses: Cost for a reasonable hotel of my choosing for 2 nights (the night before and the night of your wedding or event.)

Flights/Rental Car: Round trip flight on Southwest Airlines to your wedding destination, and vehicle arrangements made from airport to hotel. I am blessed with kind & helpful people all across the country so if I utilize local family/friends for travel accommodations your travel fee will be lowered.

How long does it take to get our edited photos back?

Typically my clients receive their full gallery of photos within 1-3 weeks of their scheduled session.

In the case of a wedding or a larger event, full galleries are typically delivered back to the client within 6-8 weeks.

How are photos delivered to me once you’ve edited them?

Short answer: Dropbox!

Let me explain: Dropbox is tool that allows me to upload all of your high quality edited images into a secure folder. I pay for a business account in order for this software to be FREE to my clients.

Once I am finished with your gallery, I will upload all of your images into your uniquely secured folder. You will receive a special link to your folder. You can open this folder from your desktop computer or smartphone. You do not need the Dropbox app on your smartphone, you can open in any internet browser. You can view, download, and share your photos all through Dropbox.

I am always willing to assist clients with how to use Dropbox once their gallery is complete.

What should I (or we) wear to the photo session?

I always tell my clients to stick with neutral colors. White, tan, black, grey, etc. A great pair of jeans always look nice. I also love knit tops or dresses for the ladies. - If you have any questions, I love assisting with outfit selection. My cell is located on the contact me page.
